AhlulBayt News Agency: The Israeli military is carrying out a campaign of killing and destruction in southern Lebanon, deliberately violating the 2024 ceasefire agreement.
An Israeli drone struck a vehicle in a town near Nabatieh on Sunday. Earlier the same day, occupation forces entered a border town and detonated several homes, just one day after a civilian had been targeted and killed by another hostile drone.
According to Al-Manar’s correspondent in south Lebanon, an Israeli drone also attacked the town of Dweir in the Nabatieh district.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the strike killed one civilian and injured three others, including a nine‑year‑old child.
Local media identified the martyr as Ali Dawoud Omeiss from the nearby town of Abba.
Israeli drones carried out four additional raids, targeting bulldozers clearing rubble from a previous strike in the southern town of Qannarit, the correspondent added.
At dawn on Sunday, Israeli occupation forces infiltrated Lebanese territory and blew up two houses in the border village of Rub al‑Thalathin, according to the reporter.
The explosions caused extensive damage, affecting several nearby homes, including houses in the neighboring village of Markaba.
Rub al‑Thalathin had already witnessed a deadly attack on Saturday, when a Lebanese citizen was killed by an Israeli drone while standing on the roof of a home, Al-Manar reported.
Local media identified the martyr as Ahmad Hasan Fakih, a maintenance worker repairing a satellite dish at the time.
Elsewhere, an Israeli drone fired two missiles at an electricity line between the towns of Maaroub and Barish in the Tyre district. The missiles exploded mid-air, damaging two cars, according to the correspondent.
